One-way check valve designed for medical and fluid-control applications, featuring an external housing that provides structural support, protection, and secure system integration. Internally, the valve incorporates a silicone membrane that allows flow in one direction while preventing backflow.
The valve opens only once the specified cracking pressure is reached, ensuring controlled flow and enhanced system safety. Available in anti-siphon and gravity configurations, depending on application requirements.
Gravity versions operate under hydrostatic pressure and gravity-dependent flow conditions, remaining closed when insufficient pressure or incorrect positioning occurs (cracking pressure ≤ 20 mbar). Anti-siphon versions are designed to help prevent unintended free flow and backflow in fluid systems (cracking pressure approximately 200 mbar).
Manufactured from medical-grade silicone and high-performance thermoplastics, ensuring durability and reliable performance. Multiple off-the-shelf configurations are available, including ISO 80369-7 (Luer standard) compliant options.
Suitable for IV sets and other medical fluid management systems. Compatible with EtO sterilization, gamma irradiation, and e-beam sterilization.
