Description
Backup seal designed to provide additional sealing security during instrument passage through cross-slit valves. When the primary slit is opened by the medical instrument, the backup seal helps maintain system tightness in both directions by sealing around the instrument and supporting overall system integrity.
Designed to enhance sealing performance under demanding conditions, helping to reduce leakage risk, support higher pressure applications, and minimize contamination or external exposure. Available in different variants to accommodate multiple cross slit sizes and procedural requirements.
Manufactured from silicone compositionally compliant with USP Class VI standards. Suitable for continuous service temperatures up to 100°C (212°F) and compatible with EtO (ethylene oxide) sterilization and gamma irradiation.
Available with external diameters ranging from 6.5 mm to 29.0 mm and cross slit dimensions from 1.5 mm to 20.0 mm.
